Based in the Netherlands, The Ichigo Shop is the leading online store for kawaii lifestyle & fashion products.

The Ichigo Shop was founded 5 years a go at a sunny morning here in the Netherlands. The shop was started with the intend to share unique products inspired by popular Asian street fashion styles with as many people all over the world. Owner Mei Mei started by making jewelry and phone cases which soon came a well known staple on various events. Nowadays she assisted by her partner, a close team of models and a couple of friends which make the Ichigo family complete. We are continuously trying to improve our shop by listening to all your feedback and interacting closely with our clients and community. We love what we do and we are overjoyed to be able to share a piece of Asian culture with so many people around the world.

Who are we?

We are just another interracial couple who lives together with our rabbit called Chilo. Chien is an expert when it comes to phones and gadgets and Mei Mei is the creative artist of the shop. We watch Naruto together on lazy days and prepare our stock for events on busy days. We love interacting with our customers and are always eager to hear your stories and experiences.

Why The Ichigo Shop?

Ichigo means strawberry in Japanese and they can be found everywhere on our shop. Not only are they delicious to eat, everyone likes them and they look really cute too! In Japan you have a huge range of strawberry products; from Kit Kats, to strawberry printed shirts, which inspired us to bring a little of this cute culture to Europe.

We promote being different and being comfortable with it. Our team consists of different people from different nationalities, age, race and size. Our clothing sizes go from petite to plus size and are all tested by our team to ensure your comfort. We hope to inspire you on our events and with our Style Guide so everyone can wear our products with confidence.
