Although it is quite an expensive product, I have highly recommended it to all my family members after using it for 2 months every morning and night. Highly moisturizing for my dry skin, no pungent and overly perfumed smell but really worth your money!

First of all, don’t get confused by the picture. you actually get the 3rd generation of this essence: the essence intensive moist. This is my third bottle of the first treatment essence. Although it is the first time trying the 3rd generation of this treatment (I used the ‘essence intensive’ before). This essence is great for reaching the deeper layers of your skin in terms of hydrating, calming and evening out both skin texture and tone. This essence has the texture of water with a slight smell of what I assume is the fermented ingredients but it’s not overpowering. It sinks in really fast and this essence would be great for the 7 skin method. I definitely noticed a change in my skins texture and hydration levels after a few days of use. An immediate effect of this essence is that your skin just feels deeply hydrated and bouncy. I used this essence after not having used it for a few months so it was easy to not only notice the difference in my skin but also in the 2nd and 3rd generation of this essence. Which is why I give it 4 stars instead of 5. I just notice that the 2nd generation worked better for my skin an gave even better results in terms of texture and tone. This might be because they took out some ingredients in the 3rd generation like licorice root extract. All in all this essence is great to prepare your skin for the rest of your routine and if you want a product to work on the deep layers of your skin. I recommend this product for all skin types as everyone needs deep hydration (especially oily and combination skin, dry skin needs mostly more moisture). This really helps to balance your skin, so I especially recommend it for combination skin (which is what I have) that suffers from both oily and dry skin. This is the perfect product to give hydration without making your skin oily. You also don’t need a lot of it per use so it will last you a while (if you don’t go crazy with the amount you use). It might be an investment for some, but it’s a product that truly benefits everyone’s skin so I think it’s worth it.
